The Lego Themed House -

I would not recommend it and was a shame really as a great idea Positive: Location was ok as in near to Lego land. Liked the concept and idea but run down and didn’t feel cared for if I’m honest! Negative: It was grubby and didn’t feel loved. Dirty wet towel left in bathroom. Entrance was litter in the outside porch way. Cups dirty and sticky. Great idea and concept but tired and not clean.

Fantastic Positive: The Lego‑themed house was an absolute delight, with the playful concept carried thoughtfully through every corner of the space. Each room embraced the theme with charm and creativity, right down to the dinnerware and even the toilet‑roll holder, making the entire stay feel immersive and fun. My little granddaughter absolutely loved it there!! Beyond the imaginative décor, the house offered plenty of room to relax and unwind. Everything was spotless, well‑kept, and presented with care, creating a welcoming environment that felt both unique and comfortable. Negative: Nothing.

A very upsetting experience Positive: We booked the house, as it looked exciting for the children in the photos. An enjoyable family experience is what we were expecting. Negative: Unfortunately we found the property to be unclean and not very comfortable. There was a strong odour on arrival, there was a lot of dust, there was a stain on the sofa, the bathroom was not clean and it felt very tired and run down. The Lego pieces around the house are a great feature, but the upkeep and dusting had clearly not been maintained. We had booked the house for my birthday for 2 nights and had taken our 4 kids ages , 9, 10, 11, 12. We were staying the night of the 1st Jan, going to Legoland on the 2nd, and staying the night of the 2nd also. We stayed the first night in the house, but all had very little sleep. The mattresses were very firm(which I understand is personal preference) but the whole place just didn’t feel clean. The shower was so small that my partner couldn’t even shower the next morning. We decided that we would book a travel lodge in slough for the second night, so we packed up our things and left early in the morning to head to Lego land. I messaged Daniel (the host) to let him know we had left. Initially he apologised for our uncomfortable nights stay, but then things began to get very nasty. I sent him the photos attached and he became very dismissive. He insinuated I was making it up and was saying things just to get money back. Myself and my partner spoke to him on the phone, again he was very dismissive and really quite rude, interrupting me mid sentence and even called me a f***ing idiot. We then phoned his assistant (the number on booking.com) who was very pleasant and apologetic. She insisted we go to booking.com to file a complaint, of which we did. Booking.com were great. They tried to contact the host and asked him to refund full payment, but he just refused. They suggested my partner spoke to him again to try and resolve the issue amicably, but This did not go down well at all.

Great stay! Positive: Great space, lovely attention to detail and our kids loved it! Negative: Nothing

Amazing will return Positive: Convenient and close to the shops. Spacious home and great for kids Negative: Nothing not to like
